Fusion Workshops @ Ruthin Craft Centre

Michael Brennand-Wood’s exhibition: Forever Changes on now at Ruthin Craft Centre, has a series of related Fusion Workshops including:

‘Fusion’ Workshop
Line to Line: Rachael Howard
and Timothy Information Limited
Sunday 21 October
10.30 – 4.30pm £75
Beginners/Intermediate

Rachael Howard is a textile artist whose figurative images reflect ordinary life around her. She makes energetic sketches of people, animals, flowers or buildings and translates them into textile narratives.

Timothy Information Limited is a badge maker and a lecturer. His work features a little bit of politics, a smattering of Punk, a touch of Tinguely and Dada, a pinch of Monty Python, Goons, et al and a few old machines.

Drawing. Some of us do it, some of us don’t. Some of us think we can do it and some of us think we can’t. This one day workshop takes you on a journey into the world of drawing. But fasten your seat belts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride as we aren’t using the usual route. There won’t be a pencil or a rubber on the premises and you might get a bit dirty!

This workshop is especially for those people who think they can’t draw, those that want to explore drawing further and for those that wonder how everyday things inspire the man made world around us. A brief and details of what to bring will be provided on booking.

‘Fusion’ workshops

‘Fusion’ workshops put the unexpected together, with the emphasis on exploration. For each of the workshops there will be two artist-tutors, a supportive environment and time to experiment – who knows what might transpire.
